The East Village Residents Association (EVRA) was formed in 2014. The Constitution was formally adopted at the AGM in January 2015 and is a non profit organisation which is ran by the residents of East Village.
To promote the interests and rights of East Village residents and to encourage them to be more actively involved in shaping and maintaining their community.
To represent the interests of, and promote membership to all eligible residents.
To work towards improving the quality of life for East Village and their community.
To assist and promote social activities for recreation and enjoyment, and encourage a
community spirit and sense of responsibility and respect.
To be non-party political.
To represent the majority view of the community.
To take into account the views of children and young people who are not old enough to be voting members.
